3234720 - Unable to Decouple Goods and Service Receipts Check box When Time Recording Required Check box is Selected

In the Third-Party process type unchecking the "Time Recording Required" check box will automatically remove the check from "Goods and Service Receipts" expected.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to the Purchase Orders view
3. Select the relevant Third-Party Purchase Order 
4. Navigate to Items tab
5. Under Basic Data, you can see that Time Recording Required check box will automatically select for Third-Party Purchase Order 

Once the time entry is released, GSR will be created automatically and then you can create supplier invoice with respect to that GSR. In the "third-party" process type unchecking the "time recording required" will automatically remove the check from "goods and service receipt expected".

In the Business Configuration work center -> Overview -> Activities -> Purchase Order Item Follow Up Document Settings -> Here you can see for Process Type - Third-Party and Item Type Service, Goods and Service Expected check box is defaulted. Which means, for project based services with third party, it is expected to do time recording and based on released time sheets, system, will create goods and service receipt.

For standalone Third Party Purchase Order, the use is able to deselect Time Recording Required, while the Goods and Services Receipt Expected Indicator stays selected. For Third Party Purchase Orders created via Project Purchase request will always deselect Goods and Services Reciept Expected indicator if Time Recording Required is deselected by the user. The Goods and Service Receipts for purchase orders created via project for third party scenarios will always only be created via Time Recording process.
