This article will show how to make certain quote fields editable within the quotation page.

Details:
The Cart Fields Administration section allows you to define which fields in the quote will be editable for user type per quote status.

Solution/Workaround:

In this example, we will make List Price field editable for User Type, "Sales," and Quote Status in "Open".

1. To access your Cart Field Administration tab, enter into Admin Setup. (Setup > Pricing/Calculations > Cart Fields Administration).

2. On Cart Field Administration Page, line up your quote status with user type and click on the pencil icon to edit this option,

3. On the "Available Fields and Calculations" section, select the fields you want to make editable.

4. Now within the "Editable Field Groups and Related Calculations", add in a new field set (group) by clicking "Add new field set".

5. Once new group is populated below, on the left side panel; click on the green arrow button to add selected fields from step 3.

6. Hit Save when completed. Exit setup and reload the same quote. "List Price" field should now be editable for this quote status and user type.
