Details:

Is it possible to have Webcom CPQ integrated with Salesforce, and have both Salesforce quoting and CPQ quoting enabled and be in use without causing some kind of conflict?

Solution/Workaround:

Yes, both Webcom CPQ quoting and Salesforce quoting can be enabled and utilized at the same time.

Salesforce quoting does not have to be disabled for CPQ quoting to remain functional (and vise versa) as they are considered two different entities within the salesforce environment. Salesforce of course is a standard entity, and CPQ, within salesforce, uses custom object called quotes.

It is recommend that the custom object name labeled “quote” be changed within salesforce to something distinctive so that the SFDC admin can easily distinguish between CPQ generated quotes and other quotes without confusion.
