3235102 - Inspections Do Not Have Impact in Inventory

Symptom

You have created the Inspection XXX of any type and recorded number of defects, nonconforming or destructed units. However it does not affect the stock.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Quality Control work center. 
  2. Select Inspections view. 
  3. Find the Inspection XXX. 
  4. Open the Inspection XXX. 
  5. Go to Results tab. 
  6. Notice that here you have entered number of defects, nonconforming or destructed units. 

Cause

The Inspections do not affect the stock. The full quantity will still be added to the stock, although there are number of defects, nonconforming or destructed units.

The quantities recorded in Inspections are for reporting proposes only.

Resolution

As the stock is not affected, the system is working as expected.
