SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
Dependent person type was created in HomeAddress business configuration and fields were re-configured for dependents screen however when screen loading in employee profile dependents fields are same as employee home address. In another words dependents configuration is not respected.

Cause
This is expected behavior, address information data model will always respect the country address information fields, hence country specific data model will be respected always.
Resolution
Person type "dependents" is currently not supported by country specific address configuration, hence please consider open an enhancement idea so this can be reconsidered by Product Management team:
