3235523 - XML Document(2,2) error when attempting to land on CPQ from C4C

When opening a Quote from C4C to CPQ it lands on a error screen and on CPQ it is logged an error message informing "There is an error in XML document (2, 2)."

SAP SALES CLOUD integrated with SAP Cloud for Customers

1. On C4C open a Quote
2. See an error message when attempting to land on CPQ
3. On CPQ Log verify that the following entries are logged:
   1. "Proceed after landing from sales quote"
   2. "Getting object of type 'Webcom.Configurator.Core.SAP.C4C.Models.SalesQuoteDetails' from http response failed !" , with the following exception: "System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (2, 2). ---> System.InvalidOperationException: <SalesQuoteDetailsV2 xmlns=''> was not expected."

• Wrong version of CPI Instance being used
• It is configured to be used a Quote 2.0 integration when CPQ environment is on a Quote 1.0 engine. 

• It should be reviewed Iflows currently in use for the integration scenario
• Environment should be connected with the appropriate CPI instance which supports CPQ 1.0 engine for the integration with C4C
