Symptom

  • Upgrade ASE 15.7  SP 141 to ASE 16 SP 16.0 SP03 PL12
  • Creating a java-based procedure, the error 14218 occurs:
         
    MSG 14218, Level 16, State 1:
    Server 'imaluat', Procedure 'TO_CHAR', Line 4:
    Cannot create or execute a SQLJ UDF, because Java services are not enabled.
