3235914 - Warn rule not working for Spot Award - Compensation

Symptom

Added a rule to Spot Award Object for a warning message but award is not being sent.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create rule with then condition with a warning
  2. Save that rule to Spot Award object
  3. Then try to nominate someone to an award -> warning message appears but it does not allow you to nominate

Cause

Warning messages are not supported for Spot Awards.

Resolution

Submit an enhancement request to have this functionality considered within future development cycles. Please refer to KBA 2090228 on how to do so.
