3235945 - Error Value for Unit of Measure and XX is invalid for Line Item

You are trying to upload data for a price list and when performing such action the system returns one of the following:

Message: 0 Record(s) successfully saved in SAP Business ByDesign
or
Error: Value for Unit of Measure and XX is invalid for Line Item

SAP Business Bydesign

In this example we will use Company Specific Price List.

1. Navigate to the Product and Service Portfolio work center.
2. Select the Price Lists view.
3. Search for Company Specific Price List.
4. Select ABC (ABC represents the name of the price list).
5. Click Download.
6. Fill the excel file.
7. Click Save Data To.

The system returns the following:

Message: 0 Record(s) successfully saved in SAP Business ByDesign
or
Error: Value for Unit of Measure and XX is invalid for Line Item

You are passing the Unit of Measure as lower case such as "ea" or using the value value.

This is the system expected behavior.

Please change the Unit of Measure to upper case, changing "ea" to "EA" and click Save Data To.

If this does not work, please click the Lookup button and the system will propose all valid Unit of Measures.
