3236404 - In a Copy Step, copying a Calculated Measure to a value Measure, values copied do not match the values of copied measures

You are using a story to check the values of some calculated measures.  After a copy action some copied calculated values do not match what you see in the story.  What is affecting this situation? Filters, the copy action or the calculated measures?

To summarize one or more of the following conditions exist:

• In the copy action, you are copying the value of a calculated measure with a formula which depends on other calculated values.  The calculated measure dependencies extends to several levels, such that each calculated value depends on other calculated values for other members referenced in the formula. In addition, values are conditional.
• You can see the calculated measure is working as expected in a story
• You have a copy action that copies values from such calculated measures into other measures
• After the copy, some but not all calculated values which were copied are incorrect.

This discrepancy could be due to filter settings which may return different result sets at different stages of the operation, eg during copy action or story. 

When using a copy action, for example to copy values from calculated measures, ensure the filter setting of the copy action is the same as when viewing the results of the copied values in a story.
