3236461 - Errors When Creating New Tax Entry from Microsoft Excel - There are not enough rows in the CurrencyCode code list table

You notice error messages when trying to create a new Tax Entry from Microsoft Excel.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the VAT Entries View.
3. Choose New Tax Entry from Microsoft Excel. The below errors appear:

"An error occurred while exporting the file:
Error ID: AP_UI_OIN 043.
Error text: There are not enough rows in the CurrencyCode code list table. Please add a line."

The template you use is an alternative older template. You can check as below:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to the Microsoft Office® Template Maintenance view.
3. Search for the template named 'Manual Tax Entries Upload'.
4. Select the template and click Versions.
5. Select the version with status = Active, and you see the Changed On shows a past timestamp, it indicates that this is not the latest version of the template.

To use the latest version and resolve the errors, you can:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to the Microsoft Office® Template Maintenance view.
3. Search for the template named 'Manual Tax Entries Upload' in the table.
4. Select the template and press Action->Change Master Data Template.
5. Press Ok and the status of the template is Not Published.
6. Press Versions, select the latest version and choose Revert To.
7. Press OK.

Now you can download the template without errors when uploading a new VAT entry from Microsoft Excel.
