VIES needs VAT No of the Requestor to return the Consultation number.

The request to the VIES Service must contain a VAT No. of the requesting company.

With the CE2208 upgrade this VAT No is no more derived from the company code but is is maintained in the customizing for the Online Validations.

It is possible to use the SSCUI 105630 (Online Validation)  and maintain the Requestor VAT Number in the "Maintain VIES specific parameters" view. It is possible to use any EU VAT Number owned by your company.
