3237109 - OrderRequest document failed in SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway with an error

Symptom

The buyer is on an Ariba Network account integrated with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. Previously, when the buyer sent a purchase order containing multiple lines with serial number and equipment number from SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA, the OrderRequest document failed in SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway with the following error:

Invalid content was found starting with element 'SerialNumberInfo'. One of 'Unknown macro: {AssetInfo,PackagingDistribution}' is expected.
