Symptom
In a Production Order with Check Task, if the Input product (with backflush as confirmation method) is added after the Production order is Released and is added to the activity previous to the Check Task.
While confirming the check task system will consume the Input product again, which will cause the double consumption of the same input Product.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Production Control work center.
- Go to the Production Orders view and find the relevant Production Order ID.
- Here Production Order is Released.
- Edit it and navigate to the execution tab, Order consists of a check task.
- Now navigate to the Order Structure tab, select the Produce Activity which exists before check task.
- Under Details:Actvity section, go to Input Products subtab and add an input product with Confirmation Method as Backflush.
- Now input product is added to the activity previous to the check task.Once it is done, Confirm all the tasks apart from the check task.
- Now check the stock of the newly added Input product.
- Open the check task and enter the inspected quantity then click on finish result recording.
- In the confirmation tab, verify the confirmed quantity and click on Save.
- After saving this task, observe that the added input product is consumed again and inventory is reduced.
- Now verify the same from the Stock overview.
Cause
Since the added input product's confirmation type is Backflush, the check task is considering all the products added at the reporting point, therefore it is consuming the inventory.
Resolution
- Go to the Production Control work center.
- Go to the Production Orders view and find the relevant Production Order ID.
- Here Production Order is Released.
- Edit it and navigate to the execution tab, Order consists of a check task.
- Now navigate to the Order Structure tab, select the Produce Activity which exists before check task.
- Under Details:Actvity section, go to Input Products subtab and add an input product with Confirmation Method as Explicit.
If the scenario is as depicted, the user has to add a new input product selecting the confirmation type as Explicit.
