3237617 - Error approving new hire workflow ''There is already another record with the same date''

Try to approve the new hire workflow and receive the issue message ''There is already another record with the same date''.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Approve Requests
2. Click on button Approve for the affected workflow
3. And get the message “There is already another record with the same date.”

In some scenarios when workflow is resubmitted with no changes to the value of the data in the workflow, then due to cache issue system will throw the error.

Please follow the below steps to resolve your issue:

• Withdraw the current workflow
• Perform an OData Refresh details here https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2171588
• Submit the hire again and trigger a fresh workflow. 
• Approve the hire workflow.
