3237815 - SAP BusinessObjects update installer is going very slow

Symptom

  • Update install 4.2 SP4 to 4.3 Sp2 Patch 4 (In-place) going slow
  • Install is running but going very slow on Multi node production servers (1st server is being installed)
  • Best practices Note was followed - 1952120 - Best practices & pre-requisites on Windows while Install/Update/Patching BI
  • Update ran with only CMS, FRS and Tomcat processes running 
  • A sandbox finished in 3 hours
  • However production node is not finished in 5+ hours
