You or an employee is trying to record time against a project, but system throws error message "Labor resource assignment mandatory for project time confirmation on DD.MM.YYYY".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Home work center.
2. Access the Self-Services view.
3. Choose the Self-Services Overview.
4. Click the Edit Time Sheet link.
5. Enter the time recording as required.
6. Click the Save button.
7. Click the Release button. 
8. System throws the mentioned error message.

As the time recorded is for date DD.MM.YYYY where the labour resource is not applicable for this time , as the job is not active on the labour resource until date DD.MM.YYYY.

Correct the validity period for the job assignment on resource "XYZ" which covers the periods of the time recordings that require to use the labour resource.
