R3trans is reporting authorization error:
SQL30082N  Security processing failed with reason "24" ("USERNAMEAND/OR PASSWORD INVALID").  SQLSTATE=08001     
  

• So you successfully change the password at the OS level:

  passwd sapsid
  New password:
  Retype new password:
  passwd: all authentication tokens updated successfully.

• You also change the password at the SAP level:

  dscdb6up sapsid <password>
  password file '/usr/sap/SID/SYS/global/dscdb6.conf' successfully written
  Effective userid is not root.  OS passwords can not be changed.
    

However, explicit Db2 connect continues to report the SQL30082N reason=24.

And R3trans reports the same:
