Symptom

We are receiving the error 'Connection failed (Secure communication issue - check certificate and keystore.) 'when trying to connect to SAP Solution Manager using IBM DataPower certificate. I’ve confirmed all the solution, branch, URL, user and password are all entered correctly per the documentation article: Troubleshooting SAP Solution Manager

Resolution

Please generate a self-signed certificate, and apply the public certificate on the DataPower side. This will clear your SAP Solution Manager connection error message.
