3241330 - Variable 'Duration' is shown in the wrong format

 

If you export cases from Process Governance, you get duration value in seconds. We would like to have it like in case overview e.g. '3 days 7 hours 23 minutes'.

The csv case export has currently following format:

 

This export works as designed. In this format, it is easier to work with charts and use it in other applications. In a spreadsheet (LibreOffice, MS Excel, etc.), you can divide by 86400 and format that column as a ‘time’.

There are no plans on the roadmap to add built-in date formatting for fields in a workflow, or in reports. You can format the date in the script task by creating a new variable and use it in the case overview or reports.

Please note: MS Excel has a bug related to bad interpretation of exponential values. It is necessary to check the decimal place.
