3241371 - Explanation of Search and the Dictionary entries it finds

Symptom

When typing text into the Search function in Process Manager, a predictive search can find Dictionary entries.  However, when the entry is selected, nothing appears in the Explorer window, why?
There is a message that appears when you hover of the Search field informing that the search function does not search through Dictionary entries.

Also, is it saying that it doesn’t search for Dictionary entries in external documents that are imported into Signavio?

Resolution

The Search documentation: https://documentation.signavio.com/suite/en-us/Content/process-manager/userguide/search.htm
states the following:

Search for a linked Dictionary entry by entering the complete dictionary entry name in the search mask.

So, the Search will only return a model if it is linked to that Dictionary item. Further, as the Search is being done in the Explorer, it is not an explicit Dictionary search.

For the sentence regarding "...dictionary entries and content..." It should really be:

Does not search through dictionary entries or content of linked (or uploaded) documents.
