3241734 - [Onboarding] Onboarding Dashboard and Your Onboarding Journey Cards Behavior for Newly Onboarded Hiring Manager in Latest Home Page

It has been observed that a newly onboarding hiring manager will not be able to see the onboarding dashboard until his/her onboarding process is removed.

For example: A Hiring Manager was recently onboarded through onboarding. They have not completed all the onboarding tasks and the process closure job is set to XX days. When this new hiring manager becomes an active user, they are adding the user to the RBP Groups which contains permissions to the onboarding dashboard. But since this user was a new hire, when they select "Onboarding" in the home dropdown, "Your Onboarding Journey" is displayed rather than the onboarding dashboard.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Complete the Onboarding Process for a new Hiring Manager
2. Once the New Hiring Manager becomes an active user, provide the necessary Manager Permissions
3. Proxy as the Hiring Manager
4. Click on the Onboarding Tab from home dropdown on the Home Page
5. You will receive an application error

• It is expected behaviour for the Application Error to appear if the user does not have sufficient RBP Permissions
• RBP Permissions provided to the New Hiring Manager is insufficient

1. Go to Manage Permission Role > Employee Self Service Role
2. Click on Permissions
3. Under Onboarding or Offboarding Object Permissions > provide "view" access to the following:
   Process
   Buddy Task
   Welcome Message Task
   Recommended Link Task
   Recommended People Task
   Where to Go Task
   (NOTE: The Task Permissions can be given based on your configuration, however, Recommended People is a mandatory task)
