3241896 - Data Source Error: Result Set Too Large

You are previewing a data source but it runs into the following error:

Result set too large; amount of data limited by configuration

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics.
2. Choose the view Design Data Sources.
3. Select your data source and click Preview.
4. Run the data source.
5. Go to the view and add the required fields.

You will see the mentioned error.

By default, the data in standard data sources is limited to reduce potential issues due to data volume.

It is not recommended to run a data source without any selections, or to add fields to the view which would expand the data to a highly detailed level when large data volumes are involved.

To run the data source successfully, please apply selections in the data source preview. The same is valid in a report that is based on this data source.
