3242295 - How can I include a custom attribute into the process documentation?

Symptom

Problem

I have defined a custom attribute from type X and want it be shown in the process documentation.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Resolution

This can be achieved by adding an attribute on the element level, and then defining the attribute you want to see in the process documentation in the attribute window.
For more information please go to the Generating process documentation reports page.

Example :

  • A custom attribute type URL on a data object

Used in Editor

In the Process Documentation template editor:

  • Use the table/list Process Elements (As it is at the element level)
  • Change the filter for the element type to include the correct element

  • In this example, the data object:

  • Add an "Attribute on element level"

  • Select the custom attribute in the list

  • Add more if you want
  • Save your template before to use it
