3242297 - Showing Diagram Attributes in the Hub

Symptom

In our published diagram, we are using several attributes, but only one particular attribute is being shown when looking at the Hub view of the Attributes. Is it possible to show our two other attributes in the diagram? Also, we would like to change the order of the attributes, to have them at the top of the list and not at the end.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Resolution

Regarding the first question about toggling the attributes, specifically that you want to display more attributes: You or an admin from your organization would first need to, in the Explorer, Click Setup, then Define notations/attributes in the top dropdown menu. Then you would click the Modeling Language tab on the top bar of the dialog. Then you would go to Business Process Diagram (BPMN 2.0) (on the left)-> BPMN Diagram (in the center) and verify on the right-hand side that all of your custom attributes are present. If any are missing, you can add them here.

Next, within Explorer, you can create these in a specified attribute group. To do this, since you are using HubNext, please click Setup → Edit Collaboration Hub configuration → Go to Collaboration Hub settings → Attribute Groups. You can then add an attribute group, which will allow you to adjust the order of your attributes when displayed in the Hub view.

To add attributes to a new group, follow these steps:

  1. Select a Notation set from the drop-down list. This would be Business Process Diagram (BPMN 2.0) in your case.
  2. To create a new group, click New group.
  3. Enter a name for the group.
  4. To add attributes, click them in the Add Attributes drop-down list. To find an attribute, enter a search term.
  5. To reorder an attribute, click and drag the attribute to its new position.

Now, you please return to the Hub and check your diagram's Attribute area. It will now look as expected, with your new group name.
