We were wondering whether the linking of Business Processes (BPs) within a CJM, changed from a search to a navigation of the folder structure with the major release in early September or since then? Please see example of the 'new' navigation dialog in the attached

Yes, improvements and new features were introduced with the release of SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub v 3.2.0 on 05 Oct. 2021. Specifically for Journey models, you can now link multiple processes and add touchpoints. You can see the release notes here:
