3242373 - SAP Solution Manager configuration error, "Connection failed (URL cannot be reached)"

Symptom

While setting up the SAP Solution Manager connector, customer is receiving the following error, "Connection failed (URL cannot be reached)"

Resolution

In this case, the SAP Solution Manager endpoint had been set up with only SAML authentication, which we don't support.
