Can I restrict adding ad-hoc tasks to a case and subtasks to a task?

You cannot prevent adding sub-tasks to a task, but you may suppress the option to add an ad-hoc tasks to a process. To archive this, you need to restrict access rights to the corresponding process, e.g.:
