We alter the meta values of entries through the API. Therefore we saved all Signavio ids externally. If I look for an application with one id, I get the desired item. If I click on the same Item in the feed, showing all changes to it, the URL changes to another ID. If I change the name of one instance, the name of the other will be changed as well. Thus, I conclude it is the same application.

We have different ids for dictionary items. I suppose you were looking for a newest revision ID (headRevision), which is changing.
