3242676 - How is a material determined as Stock In-Transit(SIT) relevant or not.

Symptom

When creating a Stock Transfer Order(STO) in ME21n, the error 'Item Category U not supported for Purchase Order document type *** in SIT' is raised but not for all materials. It is not known how the system determines the material as SIT relevant or not.
