3242680 - DRTM Purge Error

Symptom

  • When submitting a DRTM Purge request the following error is being received:
    • DRTMTodoEntryObjectType Event payload of sap.sf.todofoundation.todo exceeds 65536

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the instance
  2. Go to the DTRM tool
  3. Try to run a DTRM purge
  4. You receive the following error: DRTMTodoEntryObjectType Event payload of sap.sf.todofoundation.todo exceeds 65536

Cause

This error is caused because some of the users that are trying to purge have too many To-Dos

Resolution

  • Identify which users that you are trying to purge have many To-Dos
  • Proceed to purge the users in separate sections
    • For example if you are attempting to purge 20 employees and these 20 employees have more than 10,000 To-Dos purge users 1-10 and then purged users 11-20
