Symptom

  • Running sp_configure
  • The following error is reported:

1> sp_configure "allow update", 1
2> go
Msg 5854, Level 18, State 1:
Server '<server>', Procedure 'sp_configure', Line 1335:
Configuration Error: Cannot write out file '/sybase/<server>/ASE-16_0/<server>.cfg' due to system error 'No space left on device' (status = -1).
