3243527 - Communication error to IBP from CI-DS agent: Could not create credential from PSE - SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services

Symptom

Either one of the following errors show up in the error log of a CI-DS task:

  • "Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <> using host <IBP hostname>, client <100>, user <IBP username>, and system number <01: CRFC error: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE- SSSLERR_PSE_ERROR: Could not create credential from <path to the configured PSE file> for client role. Please consult traces. [SAP Partner]>. Please make sure the SAP server is running and the login information is correct."
  • "<01: CRFC error: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE- SSSLERR_PSE_MISSING_PIN: Could not create credential from <filepath>.pse for client role. Please consult traces.[SAP Partner]>"
