3243957 - Deleting records in the IDoc: Integrating SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with Kronos Workforce Central (SAP Cloud Platform Integration)

Symptom

In the Integrating SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central with Kronos Workforce Central (SAP Cloud Platform Integration) standard integration package, all records in one IDoc have different customer field values in Employee Central Payroll (ECP). You wish to know if there is any unique identifier which can be modified in the mapping (for example in SAP BTP or CPI) which can be used to delete all the records in one IDoc.

Cause

Expected behaviour

Resolution

This is the expectation from the Kronos file:

  • Batch Number is the field which is mapped to Customer Field and the expectation is that it should be the same for all the records in a batch.
  • This is used for deleting the batch in case of errors while importing the data to the EC Payroll system (ECP).
  • The batch number should not be repeated in other files sent by Kronos.

(please note, if each record have unique values, then this will need to be investigated with the Kronos team as it would be the Kronos system which would be sending data incorrectly)
