3244478 - User ID not found in value help of the recipient during sales workflow configuration

Symptom

Symptom 1:

  • When entering the user ID as the recipient of the workflow, system would display the error that "Users cannot be validated as the user service is not available."
  • User is not found when changing the current assignment in Manage Sales Document Workflows application.
  • Error "No service found for namespace", name 'C_SALESDOCUMENTWORKFLOWVH_CDS', version '0001' occurred (transaction /N/IWFND/ERROR_LOG).

Symptom 2:

  • When configuring the recipient of the workflow, using the F4 help/value help to search for the user ID results in an empty list or the specific user is not found in the result list.
  • Entering the user ID directly into the recipient field of the workflow results in the error "User ... are not valid."
