Symptom

  • No data gets retrieved when refreshing a Progress database based universe Web Intelligence report.
  • For Merged dimensions #DATASYNC appears inside of the WebI report.
  • The issue started to occur after upgrading from BI 4.2 to BI 4.3.
  • When checking the connection 'Invalid database middleware' error message appears both in Information Design Tool and Universe Design Tool.
