3245439 - Error 213 occurs when resume the companion mode from failback mode

Symptom

  • The primary node and companion mode show failback mode

    1> sp_companion
    2> go
    Server 'SYBDB1' is alive and cluster configured.
    Server 'SYBDB1' is configured for HA services.
    Server 'SYBDB1' is currently in 'Primary failback' mode.
    (return status = 0)

    1> sp_companion
    2> go
    Server 'SYBDB2' is alive and cluster configured.
    Server 'SYBDB2' is configured for HA services.
    Server 'SYBDB2' is currently in 'Secondary failback' mode.
    (return status = 0)

  • Try to resume the companion mode, but error 213 occurs.
    1> sp_companion SYBDB2, 'resume'
    2> go
    Server 'SYBDB1' is alive and cluster configured.
    Step: Access verified from Server:'SYBDB1' to Server:'SYBDB2'.
    Server 'SYBDB2' is alive and cluster configured.
    Step: Access verified from Server:'SYBDB2' to Server:'SYBDB1'.
    Step: Checking to See if the remote server is up.
    (1 row affected)
    Step: Synchronizing Application Specific information from companion server
    Msg 213, Level 16, State 4:
    Server 'SYBDB1', Procedure 'sp_hasyncapps', Line 335:
    Insert error: column name or number of supplied values does not match table
    definition.
