3245579 - Enabling Calculated Fields

• You are using the Data Source Extensions functionality from Custom Fields app.
• You noticed there is a new tab "Calculated Fields" in the Data Source Extensions section.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208

1. Go to Custom Fields app.

2. Select Data Source Extensions tab.

3. Create Data Source Extension (or select an existing one).

i.e. Data Source: Display Line Items in General Ledger (FAC_GLV_GL_ACCOUNT_LINE_ITEMS_MD0001)

4. Enter a Description and a Extension ID.

5. Click on Create.

6. In the Data Source Extension detail screen, select "Calculated Fields" tab.

7. Creation button (+) is disabled.

With SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208, a new feature in Data Source Extensions was released "Calculated Fields".

The creation of a calculated field is not enabled because the feature has not been enabled by the team responsible of the selected Data Source.
