3245889 - Story Report - CURRENTDATE() function returning blank

While creating a story report in the Query Builder page, stories with “CURRENTDATE()” function in calculated columns displays empty data in the widgets for that calculated column.

1. Login to the instance
2. Navigate to Reporting
3. Click the New > select Story
4. create a story report with columns having date field
5. Now try to add calculated column and use CURRENTDATE() function.
6. CURRENTDATE() do not work as expected (eg: Compare any Date field added in the query to currentDate, data will not be fetched as expected, since CURRENTDATE() function does not work at the moment.)

There is a Datatype mismatch in the backend.

This issue has been fixed by SAC Product Engineering.

To fix this issue, please follow the following steps:

1. Open the story having the CURRENTDATE() function in the calculated columns.
2. Go to Edit Mode, under Data tab, select Edit Data source option and go to the query builder page.
3. In the Query Builder page, click on finish to update the data model.
4. The widgets in Story page are now displaying proper data.
