Resolution

In order to create a new case status, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to your user profile on the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Navigate to All Settings tab.
  4. Click Status Dictionary Entries, under Case Management.
  5. Click + to create a new status.
  6. Add the Description.
  7. Now, map the status to one of the available Life Cycle Status.
  8. Map the status to one of the available Assignment Status.
  9. Save the changes.

Following these steps, you will be able to create custom statuses for cases in your SAP Service Cloud Version 2 solution.
