3246163 - Error Message: Combination of Budget Category PQR and G/L Account 123 Does Not Exit

You are uploading a new Plan data for Expenses and Income Statement, however you receive an error message:

Combination of Budget category PQR and G/L account 123 does not exit

(PQR represents the Budget Category)

(123 represents the G/L Account ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Cost and Revenue work center.
2. Go to the Planning View.
3. Click New >Plan Version from Microsoft Excel.
4. Select New Expense and Income Statement Plan.
5. Click on Download and Open the template in Microsoft Excel.
6. You need to logon to SAP Business ByDesign and provide the Log On details.
7. Upload the file via Save data to in the Excel add-in, you receive the below error message:

Combination of Budget category PQR and G/L account 123 does not exit

You have not mapped the G/L account 123 to the Budget Category PQR in the Budget Queries activity.

You need to assign the G/L Account 123 to the Budget Catergory PQR by following below steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview.
3. Search for Activity: Budget Queries.
4. Click on Edit G/L account groups for reporting.
5. Select G/L Account Group : PQR.
6. Click on Add Row.
7. Enter relevant Chart of Accounts and Select the G/L account 123.
8. Click on Save and Close tab.

Now, you shall able to upload the Plan data without any issue.
