3246246 - Performance during the navigation in SF Mobile app

Symptom

  • Performance slowness when navigating between tabs
  • When opening the 'Personal information' tab the three dots of loading appears and it takes some time to load the information

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Mobile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the mobile app.
  2. Navigate between the tabs.
  3. Go to Profile and open Personal Information.
  4. The page takes some time to load, and a three-dot loading indicator appears.

Cause

The mobile app uses the SAPUI5 library, and iOS and Android cannot take full advantage of local browser caching because of the hybrid mobile architecture.

Resolution

Currently, the engineering team will not enhance this. We encourage you to submit an enhancement request to have this functionality considered within future development cycles.
