3246344 - XML to EDI conversion fails with NullPointerException

Symptom

You have an iflow with XML to EDI converter and when you send a message it fails with similar error like this:

com.sap.it.rt.edi.exception.XMLToEDIConverterException: An exception is thrown while converting XML message to X12: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of a null object returned from com.sap.it.rt.edi.x12.element.data.DataElement.getElementDataValue(), cause: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.length() of a null object returned from com.sap.it.rt.edi.x12.element.data.DataElement.getElementDataValue()
