3246461 - Automatic usage decision doesn't work in S/4HANA Cloud

You want to use automatic usage decision in quality management in S/4HANA Cloud system. However, after you make relevant configurations and record the results for the inspection lot, no usage decision is made aotumatically.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 

There are several possible reasons why the automatic usage decision doesn't work as expected:
1. You are in some scenarios which don't support automatic usage decision, for example, inspection lots with inspection points or inspection lots for orders (inspection lot origin 03 and 13).
2. The configurations for automatic usage decision are not fully made.
3. Defects have been recorded or quality notifications have been created for the inspection lot.
4. QM in Procurement has been activated for the material and a quality certificate is required. However, no quality certificate is confirmed which leads to a "CTCM - Certif.confirmation missing" status of the inspection lot. As a result, no UD is allowed.

For cause 1-3, please follow the instructions on the Help Page to use automatic usage decision.
For cause 4, please make sure a quality certificate has been received before you record the results for the inspection lot.
