3246774 - Error While Finishing The Production Task

The sytem throws below errors when trying to Finish the production task against a Production Order.

• Finishing of production tasks failed
• Finishing of confirmation group failed
• Execution of action not permitted

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Production Control Work Center.
2. Go to the Production Task View.
3. Search for the relevant Production task.
4. Select it and choose confirm.
5. Choose Finish via Change Status option, then the system would throw above error messages. 

The production order status is set to Finished, so the confirmation group relevant to the task is also finished. Errors are raised when trying to change the status from In process to Finished due to a sync issue with the status.

The introduction of the Sync Task Status action on the Production Task screen will help resolve the issue. This action will only be visible in case of a Sync issue. Pressing the button will sync the status and set the task status to finish.
