Symptom

Filter by Range option is not available while creating a Story Filter / Prompt

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. After creating the story try to add a Story Filter / Prompt
  2. Select Dimensions
  3. Filter by Range option is not displayed

Cause

Only number and date fields can be filtered by range.

Resolution

It is working as expected. Other types of field such as calculated measure/dimension cannot be filtered by range.
