3246873 - After setting up SAMl SSO per KBA 2791348 it failed and no info was available in the logs

Symptom

  • Setup SAML per KBA 2791348
  • All users get BI login screen, no redirects to SAML IDP
  • Further looking at the Springsaml logs doesn't show any info
  • Checking the BI web/app logs shows no logon attempts no SSO attempts.
  • Testing trusted auth per KBA 1593628 was successful and web/app logs showed the SSO attempt
