3247042 - E-signature steps for US Compliance are not getting generated

The e-signature steps are missing for Compliance and I-9 steps. Document Flow is working in Onboarding. When we logged in to PFS directly, we notice that the US I9 Form, US W4 and US State Withholding Forms are missing.

SAP SUCCESSFACTORS ONBOARDING

1. Initiate Onboarding for a candidate
2. Complete the data collection steps and I-9 section 1 as the new hire
3. e-signature step for I-9 section 1 does not get triggered
4. Login to Print Form Service account using the PFS URL, User ID and password
5. None of the compliance forms are available in PFS account

If the below steps are followed and still the Compliance Forms are not available in Print Form Service account then kindly proceed with creating a ticket to SAP Product Support.

- Switch OFF the US Compliance Settings
- Run OData Refresh
- Run Onboarding Compliance Metadata Sync Job in Provisioning
- Wait for a few minutes
- Switch ON the US Compliance Settings
- Run OData Refresh
- Run Onboarding Compliance Metadata Sync Job in Provisioning

Support Engineers kindly refer internal memo for the logs.

E-Signature was not triggered as the Compliance PDF forms were not available in the new PFS account.  This is due to an instance Refresh of a BizX instance, so the target instance points to a new PFS and the synced forms are not available in the new PFS. A new run of the compliance sync job will also not sync them to PFS because the metadata MDF objects in BizX indicate that the latest versions of the forms are already updated in the instance.

As a workaround, we have to run a script to change the last updated date of all forms so that there will be a forced update for the metadata of all forms by the metadata sync job. Support engineers kindly refer the internal memo of reference script. 

Post successful execution of the script, the Compliance MetaData Sync Job needs to be run. 

Permanent Fix- Engineering Team is working on a permanent fix for this issue. The fix version will be updated in this KBA once available. For now kindly follow the above workaround.
