3247178 - Different Values in Forecast Consumption Report and Confirmation Journal Report

When using Forecast Consumption Report and Confirmation Journal Report, you get different results of XXX and YYY.

XXX = quantity in Forecast Consumption Report.

YYY = quantity in Confirmation Journal report

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Supply Planning work center.
2. Select common task Forecast Consumption Report. 
3. Filter by relevant product and relevant period.
4. Notice that Consumed Forecast is quantity XXX. 
5. Go to Business Analytics work center.
6. Select Design Reports view.
7. Find Confirmation Journal report (SCMCFJU01_Q0001)
8. Open the report
9. Filter by relevant product and relevant period.
10. Notice that the Amount of Effective Quantities is YYY instead XXX.

Once Sales Order is created in the system Forecast consumption report will get updated with Consumed Forecast quantity.

As once Outbound Delivery is released and Goods Activity Confirmation is created at that time that Confirmation Journal will fetch the Goods Activity Confirmation and show the quantity.

As the dates of creation of the Sales Order and creation of the Outbound Delivery can be different, the reports will display different values.

System is working as designed.
