Reproducing the Issue

  1. Recruiting;
  2. Job Requisition;
  3. Country > select United Arab Emirates;
  4. Click on state dropdown values;
  5. State picklist value Dubai shows as "Dubayy".

Resolution

States are derived values pulled from settings within Admin Center > Set Up Job Board. Recruiting uses an ISO code list and what we see when using derived type fields is pulled directly from this source. Accordingly to ISO, Dubayy is a correct spelling and Dubai is a local variation. As system uses the hard-coded ISO data, we can consider this as expected. Please review all details here, on ISO official site: https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:code:3166:AE

Once using the following configuration for the Standard State field, you will see the behavior.
